Question: What is the difference between the Valentine's Day 2013 Edition and the Standard Edition?
Answer: The Valentine's Day 2013 Edition is only available in Kindle and nook formats and has been edited and modified up to the time the Amazon.com Createspace paperback edition's proofing and editing was completed.
The release of the Amazon.com - Createspace paperback edition will be the Standard Edition and a corresponding digital version will be released in Kindle, nook and iBook formats.
Any major changes to the main storyline after the Standard Edition is released will only be made to the Standard Editions, in a Second (Standard) Edition, which may be released in the distant future. There are no plans to work on a Second Edition at this time or for the next several years. The Valentine's Day 2013 Edition will remain as a historical, special edition, at a discount price. It will no longer be updated.
Additional note - (September 5, 2013) the Valentine's Day 2013 Editions and Standard Editions are almost identical with the exception of the book cover and very minor differences in one or two sentences in the entire novel. Some versions have different formatting of the luncheon or conference guest lists and the main character list. Formatting of images varies depending on the book format (paperback, kindle, nook, Kobo)

Question: What is the difference between The Ecstasy and Captain Sherwood - Sailing To Saturn?
Answer: The Ecstasy is the original story written between December 2010 and February 2013, by Norman John. It was written spontaneously, developing chapter by chapter. When writing the story the author imagined being on the cruise and wrote in an uncensored manner, using vulgar language typically used by average Americans in his culture. After two years the author felt that many fans of sci - fi, techno thrillers and space adventures would appreciate the basic story but not the explicit sex, vulgarity (including the ubiquitous use of the word f**k) and so he decided to create a more mild version for those readers. The scenes containing violence were not changed. The other main change was the initial scene of the Physics Club. This was re-written because the author's view of space flight technology changed after reading books by Timothy Good about UFOs.
In summary, CSSTS does not use the word f**k and uses milder expressions, scenes containing explicit sex were edited using milder, abreviated descriptions, an explanation about rules regarding age of consent at the beginning of the novel was edited out, The Physics Club introductory scene was rewritten and grammatical errors that still remained after the original editing, proofreading and publishing of The Ecstasy were corrected in both The Ecstasy and CSSTS. CSSTS is still more appropriate for young adults (13 and older) and adults who are not offended by scenes containing sex, vulgarity or violence. It is not appropriate for children.
